Travel plans for 2019 depend largely on whether we lose our minds on the road this year or if we take to it with flair and turn into long-term nomads. I’m hoping for the latter, in which case 2019 will be our first time in the East!
January & February 2019: Island Living
Where we find ourselves in January and February is very much open to spontaneity. We will most likely find inspiration while traveling in North America from September to December 2018. Our hope is to explore the Caribbean islands. We’d love to stay on St Vincent and the Grenadines where British passport holders don’t need visas. From there we will explore parts of South America.
March to August 2019: Europe
From March to August we will be in Europe staying mainly in the UK.
September to December 2019: The East – Japan to Australia
From September to December 2019 we will fly out to the East. The Rugby World Cup 2019 will be hosted by Japan from 20 Sep 2019 – 02 Nov 2019. I am not sure when exactly we will be in Japan as destinations for this part of our travels are not set, but Japan is definately on the list.
We hope to at least visit:
- Japan
- Thailand
- Vietnam
- Australia
- New Zealand
